CD Release - WINE DARK SEA
Couloir Duo's new CD WINE DARK SEA is released! The album includes their fIrst-rate
recording of Sekhon's work Drifting Seeds which was commissioned by the duo in 2011. HERE is a video trailer and HERE is a link to Ravello's page for the disc. You can find the new CD on iTunes, Naxos, and other major outlets.
The Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music percussion ensemble recently premiered Sekhon's new work Refuge
at the 2013 Percussive Arts Society International Convention. This new work is for seven percussionists and sheet music is
available through Steve Weiss Music and Glass Tree Press.
Music USA - Musician Stories
Sekhon's new choral work,
There Are No Words, is featured on New Music USA's Musician Stories! This work was composed for the USF Chamber Singers and funded in part by the composer's assistance program from New
Music USA. Under the direction of James Bass, There Are No Words was premiered at New York City's Carnegie Hall
on February 25, 2013.
consortium for Sekhon's new double-percussion concerto for two percussion soloists and wind ensemble is coming to an end.
Consortium members include the University of South Florida, Stetson University, University of Maryland, University of Wisconsin,
Virginia Tech., and the University of South Carolina. It is still possible to join - interested parties can learn more about

USF New-Music Festival 2014
This spring, Sekhon is organizing a New-Music Festival at the University of South Florida
in Tampa, FL. This festival will be held February 13-15, 2013 and include works chosen from a call for scores. More information
